Terms of Service
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Clinics Unlocked platform and the clinicsunlocked.com website. By accessing or using the platform, you agree to these terms. If you are using the platform on behalf of a clinic or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.
2. The Service
Clinics Unlocked provides a clinic management platform for Canadian medical practices, including features such as appointment management, communications, referrals, billing, and integrations. We may add, change, or remove features over time. The platform is provided to clinics under a separate service arrangement.
3. Accounts and Access
Access to the platform requires an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to use strong authentication, including multi-factor authentication where required, and to notify us promptly of any unauthorized access.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the platform. In particular, you agree not to:
- Access data you are not authorized to access.
- Attempt to disrupt, probe, or compromise the security of the platform.
- Use the platform in a manner that violates applicable law, including privacy and health information law.
- Use the platform to send unlawful, harmful, or unauthorized communications.
5. Personal Health Information
Clinics using the platform are responsible for the personal health information they process and remain the party accountable for that information under applicable privacy law. Clinics Unlocked acts as a service provider and processes personal health information only on the authority and instruction of the clinic. Our handling of information is described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Data and Ownership
Clinic and patient data remains the property of the clinic. We provide the ability to export data in standard formats. We do not claim ownership of clinic content and do not sell clinic or patient data.
7. Availability
We work to keep the platform available and secure, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may perform maintenance, and we may suspend access where necessary to protect the security or integrity of the platform.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Clinics Unlocked is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use the platform. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or the platform is limited to the amount paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date above shows when they were last updated. Continued use of the platform after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
